UPF builds understanding and cooperation through leadership conferences, interreligious dialogue, ethnic reconciliation, service projects, sporting events, and character education. The goal is to bridge the divides among diverse peoples, resolve conflicts, and cultivate the spirit of one family under God.
The work in Nepal brought together leaders from all political persuasions to dialogue freely among themselves. They studied UPF’s principles of peace and began a process of reconciliation which helped bring militant insurgents into the political mainstream.
