Rome, Italy—The John Paul II Foundation's Colloquia Mediterranea magazine has published an 11+ page article on UPF's Think Tank 2022 project.
The ongoing collaboration, friendship and trust with Professor Riccardo Burigana, the journal's scientific director, and his participation in the UPF-Italy Peace Forum project have led to an additional opportunity, offered by Professor Burigana himself, to present in the December 2022 issue an extensive article titled "Think Tank 2022: Toward the Peaceful Reunification of the Korean Peninsula and Overcoming Conflicts in the World in Search of Peace."
The article explains the rationale behind the Think Tank project, presents the May 8, 2021, resolution, and all the initiatives in support of the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula. It also reports on the work of the Global Forum organized February 1 to 3 by the Europe-Middle East branch of UPF and outlines the initiatives and activities that led to the Think Tank project also by UPF-Italy (now called UPF-Italy Peace Forum).
The magazine Colloquia Mediterranea is sent to all bishops and cardinals of the Catholic Church and promotes ecumenical, interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
As Professor Burigana was thanked for this opportunity, he himself expressed his desire to continue active collaboration with UPF-Italy.
