Luanda, Angola—The Angola and Argentina chapters of UPF joined forces with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Cultural Studies of Argentina to hold the 1st International Forum For a Culture of Peace online and in-person on July 22, 2023. A total 55 people participated in the event.
The informative and insightful presentations that were given proved that South America and Africa are connected, with the ancestral origins of the peoples of Argentina and several countries in South America tracing back to Africa.
UPF-South America President Dr. Simão Ferabolli gave the concluding remarks in which he applauded UPF-Angola and Argentina for initiating the forum. Further, he asked everyone present to become bearers of a culture of peace guided by values.
