UPF Mourns the Passing of Cardinal Kelvin Felix of St. Lucia


Board members, staff, affiliates and friends of UPF International join the Caribbean Catholic community in mourning the passing of His Eminence Cardinal Kelvin Felix of St. Lucia on May 30, 2024. He was 91 years old.


Cardinal Felix spent all his life in service to others, within and beyond the Roman Catholic Church. For his service and devotion Pope Francis made him a cardinal in 2014.


We are grateful that Cardinal Felix participated, contributed  and spoke at several UPF events in São Paulo, New York, and Tokyo. He received the UPF Leadership and Governance Award from Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of UPF, in 2018.


We pray for his peaceful ascension, and send our condolences to his family and friends. Let his legacy of love and faith continue to inspire us all.
