Vancouver Group Studies Methods of Interfaith Outreach

Vancouver, Canada – On September 29, UPF-Vancouver convened  an interfaith meeting with over 20 participants, representing a cross section of religious faiths and nationalities. In attendance were several ambassadors for peace, including Ms. Sherry Marceil, chair of the Multifaith Summit Council. Members of a Roman Catholic interfaith group, plus an Iman representing the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, also attended.

A special presentation was given by Dr. Frank Kaufmann of the Twelve Gates Foundation, who addressed the group remotely through Zoom. Dr. Kaufmann shared wisdom from his many years of doing interfaith work. This helped participants understand the dos and don'ts of interfaith outreach.

Also Dr. Stephen Adikwu, a newly appointed ambassador for peace, testified about his life-changing experience after encountering the UPF philosophy of peace promoted by its co-founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. Dr. Adikwu is a geophysicist who is making important contributions to Canada in his field.
